Personalised Radiation Therapy

We’re making radiation therapy faster and more effective, as well as reducing side effects. By developing software technology that allows clinicians to hit the tumour with sub-mm accuracy, we can target individual tumours with with a stronger, customised radiation beam, and spare healthy surrounding organs and tissue from radiation.

 

Advanced Medical Imaging Technologies

Treatment possibilities are limited by image quality. Teams at Image X are working across all imaging modalities to push the boundaries of what can be seen by a scan, wether it’s X-Ray, CT, MRI or PET.

Clinical Trial Infrastructure

So far, over 600 patients have been positively impacted by our technology during radiation therapy, through the 20+ clinical trials and clinical studies conducted. We conduct investigator-initiated clinical trials across Australia, as well as internationally, through our network of hospital partners and collaborators. Our dedicated clinical trials manager supports all projects through ethics and regulatory and recruitment processes.

Industry Partnership

Effective partnerships help bridge the gap between research and commercial or clinical application. Our researchers hold world-exclusive agreements with some of the biggest commercial entities in global healthcare. These partnerships have culminated in numerous licensed technologies which are now globally available.

Specialist Facilities

Working across several state-of-the-art research nodes enables us to fast track the validation of high-quality translational work. Highlights include a hybrid operating theatre, dedicated radiation therapy research bunkers, wet and dry laboratories, fabrication workshop and specialist additive manufacturing suite.
