Image X has welcomed six students who will be working alongside research teams over the coming weeks on projects focused on advancing cancer imaging, radiation therapy, and health technology. The program forms part of Image X’s continuing commitment to investing in the next generation of medical research professionals.
Since 2018, Image X has hosted its summer research program to both strengthen active research projects and provide students with meaningful exposure to a real research environment. Interns are embedded within research teams, contributing to ongoing work that has the potential for real-world clinical impact.
The program brings together students from physics, engineering and computing disciplines, offering hands-on experience in translational research and an opportunity to see how technical expertise can be applied to improving patient outcomes.
